Privacy Policy

Fastik (fastik.app) helps you download public TikTok videos for personal use. We designed the service to collect as little data as possible while still keeping the site secure and reliable.
What we process
- TikTok URLs you submit, only to resolve available download formats and return metadata (title, thumbnail, links).
- Basic technical logs such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and request paths that Cloudflare or our edge functions may retain for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.
- A language preference stored in your browser’s localStorage so the interface can remember your locale.
- Optional error reports you send by email if you contact support (the content of your message and any links you include).
What we do not do
- We do not require accounts, passwords, or email addresses to use the downloader.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not permanently store the video or audio files you download on Fastik servers as a personal library.
- We do not use download history to build advertising profiles about you.
Cookies and local storage
Fastik may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for Cloudflare security and site delivery. We also use localStorage for language preference. If we later add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent.
Third parties
Requests pass through Cloudflare’s global network for hosting, DNS, and DDoS protection. Upstream resolvers may be used to fetch public TikTok media metadata for the URL you submit. Those providers process that URL to return download options.
If you click external links (for example to TikTok), those sites have their own privacy practices.
Data retention
Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations (typically short windows on edge infrastructure). Emails you send to support are retained as long as needed to resolve your request.
Children
Fastik is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not submit personal information if you are under that age.
Your choices
You can clear localStorage in your browser to remove the saved language preference. You can stop using the service at any time. For privacy questions or deletion requests related to support emails, contact contact@fastik.app.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish revisions.
